Today we volunteered to help the Ouray Beautification Committee plant trees by the riverfront next to the RV Park. It’s a lot different planting trees in Ouray. It takes an excavator to dig the hole because the ground is so dry and there are so many rocks. Then you have to create a rock burm around it. Then top soil, then plant the tree, then put a big bladder sac around it to slowly drip water for two weeks. Then someone at the park will fill the bladder sacs up. It sure is a lot easier in Florida.
